DESCRIPTION AND USES

RockSolid® Wet Look Lacquer with Turbo Spray System™ seals and protects concrete and masonry surfaces from the damaging effects of water, chemicals and UV light. The solvent-base formula forms an ultra-durable, protective barrier to keep water out, protect against stains, and extend the life of your concrete, while the "wet look" finish beautifies decorative concrete, stone, pavers and masonry.

Use Wet Look Lacquer with Turbo Spray System on exterior concrete and masonry surfaces, including previously stained or sealed concrete, pavers, stone, slate, stucco and more. Do not use on asphalt. Ideal for walkways, porches, patios, pool decks and more. If top coating freshly stained concrete, no surface preparation is necessary. See stain labels for appropriate topcoat times.

NOTE: Surfaces previously sealed with RockSolid Wet Look Concrete & Masonry Lacquer may be sealed again with this product.

PRODUCT APPLICATION

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING PROJECT

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area such as an open garage. Use when temperature is between 50°F (10°C) and 90°F (32°C) and humidity is below 85% to ensure proper drying. Do not apply in direct sunlight. Do not apply if rain is expected within 24 hours. Avoid spraying in very windy, dusty conditions. Cover plants, shrubs and additional surrounding areas to protect from spray mist.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Proper surface preparation is critical to achieve best results. Allow newly poured concrete to cure for a minimum of 28 days. Sweep away all loose dirt and debris, and remove any vegetation. If necessary, use a wire brush or sander to remove any loose or unsound concrete or masonry. Remove any efflorescence with RockSolid Efflorescence Remover (sold separately).

Clean entire surface, including any oil or grease spots, with RockSolid Heavy Duty Cleaner (sold separately). Scrub surface with a stiff bristle brush or broom. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water, preferably with a power washer. Repeat as necessary to completely clean and rinse. Allow to dry completely before sealing. Hazing may occur if sealer is applied to a damp surface.

APPLICATION

Shake the can vigorously for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. If mixing ball fails to rattle, DO NOT STRIKE. Contact Rust-Oleum. Shake often during use. Hold can upright 12”-20” from surface and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can the same distance from the surface. Keep the can in motion while spraying to avoid pooling.

NOTE: The closer the can is held to the surface, the faster you should move the can while spraying to avoid drips and sags. Occasional touch-up or recoat may be necessary for areas subject to heavy foot traffic.

COVERAGE

Each can covers up to 25 square feet (single coat). Actual coverage will vary depending on the porosity of the surface. A second coat is recommended for more porous surfaces; apply once the first coat is dry to the touch.

DRY & RECOAT TIMES

Wait a minimum of 2 hours for light foot traffic. Allow to dry 24 hours before heavy foot traffic and 48 hours before replacing furniture. Dry time is based on 70°F (21°C) and 50% relative humidity.

CLEAN-UP

To clear spray for future use, turn the can upside down and spray until gas is emitted. Wipe off tip before storing. Clean up with lacquer thinner or xylene. Protect unused product from freezing. Throw away empty can in trash pickup. Do not burn or place in home trash compactor.
