PRODUCT APPLICATION

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING PROJECT

SURFACE PREPARATION

Proper surface preparation is critical to achieve best results. Scrape and sweep away dirt and loose contaminants on the surface. Remove any oil or grease with RockSolid Heavy Duty Cleaner (sold separately). Scrub with a stiff bristle brush or broom. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water. A power washer is preferred. Repeat as necessary to completely clean and rinse. Allow to thoroughly dry.

MIXING

Slowly add two quarts of RockSolid Efflorescence Remover to six quarts of water in a plastic watering can (2 gallons total).

APPLICATION

For best results, use a plastic watering can or garden sprayer to apply RockSolid Efflorescence Remover. DO NOT use a metal container or garden sprayer with metal sprayer with metal parts or tips.

Apply RockSolid Efflorescence Remover where efflorescence appears on the concrete surface. The product will begin to fizz when contacting efflorescence. If necessary, use a stiff bristle broom to work the product into the surface. Wait 5-10 minutes until the fizzing stops. Repeat the application of the product until no fizzing appears. The process may require several applications.

Rinse the surface thoroughly with water or power wash to remove all product residue. Use a squeegee or broom to remove excess water from the surface. A wet/dry shop vacuum can be used. The application may need to be repeated until all salts are removed from the concrete surface.

Each gallon of concentrate will cover up to 600 square feet per gallon.
