PRODUCT APPLICATION

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING PROJECT

SURFACE PREPARATION

Prepare the surface by removing all debris, unsound concrete and previous patching material from the area. Dampen the area to be repaired with clean water prior to the application. Do not leave puddles or standing water. Surface temperature must be above 50°F for proper application.

MIXING

Tear bag open by the notches on the sides. Add 1 cup (12 ounces) of water per 3 pound bag. DO NOT EXCEED 14 ounces of water per 3 pounds of Putty Patch. Squeeze the pouch to remove excess air. Zip the pouch closed and knead the bag for about 3 minutes until a lump-free consistency is achieved. If necessary, mix in a secondary container. Product will set in 10-15 minutes, so mix only amount needed.

APPLICATION

Putty Patch is suitable for application at temperatures between 50° (10°C) and 100°F (38°C). It can be applied up to ½” thickness to repair horizontal, vertical or overhead concrete. Force the material into the area with a trowel or by hand to secure a complete bond over the entire area to be repaired. Always slightly overfill the target repair area with Putty Patch. Allow Putty Patch to set for approximately 10- 15 minutes; then shave the material to follow the shape of the surrounding surface. Always shave toward the common bonding line between the repair mortar and the existing surface.

THINNING

Not required.

CLEAN-UP

Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use. If the material has begun to harden, clean with warm soapy water.
