DESCRIPTION AND USES
RockSolid® Elite Sealer provides excellent resistance against water, oil, grease, dirt and rust stains. It is specially formulated for use on dense masonry surfaces such as stone, slate, marble, granite, tile, travertine and limestone. Elite Sealer penetrates below the surface without altering the natural appearance of the substrate. It is UV resistant and application is quick and easy using a ⅜” nap paint roller. Elite Sealer is safe to use near grass and plants.
Elite Sealer is suitable for use on interior and exterior concrete and masonry surfaces including concrete, pavers, stone, slate, marble, granite, tile, travertine, limestone, precast concrete tile or pavers and more. Do not use on previously sealed or coated surfaces. Elite Sealer is ideal for driveways, walkways, porches, patios and retaining walls. Note: Surfaces previously sealed with RockSoild Elite Sealer may be sealed again with this product.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Proper surface preparation is critical to achieve best results. Sweep away all loose dirt and debris. Remove any efflorescence with RockSolid Efflorescence Remover (sold separately). Clean the entire surface, including any oil or grease spots, with RockSolid Heavy Duty Cleaner (sold separately). Scrub with a stiff bristle brush or broom. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water. A power washer is preferred. Repeat as necessary to completely clean and rinse. Allow to thoroughly dry.
APPLICATION
RockSolid Elite Sealer is ready to use. Do not thin. Use only when air (ambient) temperature is between 50-90°F (10- 32°C) and the relative humidity is below 85% during the day and night. Do not apply in direct sunlight. Do not apply if rain is expected within 24 hours. The surface must be dry for proper penetration of the sealer. WARNING! Do not spray this product.
Mask adjacent surfaces to allow application up to all edges. Stir or shake the container to mix the sealer. Apply with a ⅜” nap roller from a paint tray. Do not pour the sealer directly on the surface or allow it to pool.
Apply a saturating coat, so the surface remains wet for several minutes before sealer is absorbed. Wait 5-10 minutes, then back roll with a ⅜” to ½” nap roller to pick up any puddles and soften overlap marks. For larger areas, work in 6’x6’ sections at a time before moving to the next section. A second coat may be needed on porous surfaces.
COVERAGE
Each gallon covers from 200 up to 1,000 square feet (single coat). The actual coverage will vary depending on the porosity of the surface. Dense surfaces will require only one coat. Porous surfaces may require additional coats.
DRY TIME
Dry time is based on 70°F and 50% relative humidity. Allow longer dry time at lower temperatures and higher humidity. Elite Sealer will dry to the touch in 1 hour. Allow a minimum of 2 hours for foot traffic. Wait overnight before returning heavy items, furniture and vehicles. The surface will be fully cured in 72 hours.
CLEAN-UP
Wash tools and equipment with soap and warm water. Clean spills with mineral spirits. Properly dispose of all soiled rags and protect unused product from freezing.
