DESCRIPTION AND USES
Zinsser® PaintBooster™ Flow Control Paint Additive for Oil-Based Paints is a slowly evaporating solvent blend, designed to make painting easier by improving paint flow and eliminating brush & roller marks. It slows down the drying of fast drying oil and solvent-based paints by extending the “wet edge” working time without changing the coating’s adhesion, color, sheen or flexibility. PaintBooster is ideal for painting in hot, dry climates and spray applications. One quart will treat up to 15 gallons of paint. One gallon will treat up to 60 gallons of paint. Use PaintBooster with oil or solvent-based coatings. It is not designed for use with lacquer or other strong solvent paints or primers.
PRODUCT APPLICATION
DIRECTIONS
Thoroughly mix or shake well before using. Add 2 ounces per gallon of paint. For hot, dry climates, add more PaintBooster not to exceed 16 ounces per gallon. Always check a small quantity for compatibility and the effect of the coating and the application properties before starting the project.
PaintBooster for Oil-Based Paints does not change the final cured film properties. It is non-yellowing and does not alter gloss, adhesion or other physical properties of the paint or primer.
CLEAN-UP
Clean up tools and equipment according to the paint manufacturer’s directions. If spilled, contain the material and remove with an inert absorbent. Dispose of contaminated absorbent, container and unused contents in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
WARNING: If swallowed, DO NOT induce vomiting. CALL A PHYSICIAN IMMEDIATELY. If you experience difficulty in breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If continued difficulty is experienced, get medical assistance immediately. In case of eye contact, flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention. For skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water.

*Note: Paint additives are not subject to architectural coating VOC regulations. However, the addition of PaintBooster Oil-Based Paint Additive will raise coating VOC. Always check local VOC regulations before use.
