COVERAGE/WHERE TO USE

One gallon will cover up to 400 ft2 depending on surface texture, porosity, and application method. Dark colors may require multiple coats. Ideal for interior walls, trim, windows, and doors. Use on drywall, masonry, wood, or cured plaster. NOTE: Not recommended for use on floors or exterior surfaces.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surface must be clean and free of any dust, grease, oil, stains, rust, or any other contaminants. Sand glossy surfaces before painting and wash walls if necessary. Allow wall to dry before painting. Fill in any cracks or holes to ensure a smooth surface. Drywall joint compound must dry for two days. Allow new plaster to cure for 30 days before painting. New drywall and bare wood should be primed before painting. We recommend using Zinsser® Bulls Eye 1-2-3 ® when painting over contrasting colors or bare drywall, wood, or metal. Additionally, Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 can be used to increase adhesion on hard to stick to surfaces, such as enamel paints and varnishes, paneling, and laminates.

NOTE: Not recommended for use on floors or exterior surfaces.

APPLICATION

Stir well before use. Intermix cans of the same color and product to ensure color consistency. Apply using a high quality 3/8”-1/2” nap roller or a high-quality brush. If using an airless sprayer, follow manufacturer's instructions for use, and use a .013”-.017” tip at 1800-2300 psi, adjusting as needed. Apply using even strokes, moving from dry to wet areas, keeping a wet edge. Two coats are required for new or uncoated surfaces. Some colors may require additional coats. Thinning is not recommended.
