DESCRIPTION AND USES
Zinsser B-I-N Shellac-Based Primer is a primer-sealer, stain blocker recommended for almost all surfaces. It blocks grease spots, fire, smoke, water stains, ink, crayon, knots and sap streak stains and seals odors resulting from water and fire damage. It seals knots, porous wood and spackled areas. It sticks to ceramic tile, glass, metal, plastic and hardboard.

PRODUCT APPLICATION
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free of dust, dirt, grime, grease, oil, wax, wallpaper adhesive or any contamination that may interfere with adhesion. Remove loose paint, dirt and rust. Mask off nearby objects.
APPLICATION
Apply at room temperature of 70°F in a well ventilated area. Avoid high humidity. Shake can vigorously until the agitator ball inside the can rattles. If the ball does not rattle, DO NOT STRIKE CAN. Contact Rust-Oleum. Turn the can upside down and continue shaking for one minute. Shake occasionally during use. Spray 10-12” from object with short ‘dusting’ strokes.
DRY TIME
At normal temperatures, B-I-N will dry to the touch in 15 minutes and surfaces can be painted in 30 minutes.
CLEAN-UP
Wipe off tip before storing. Clean up wet paint with mineral spirits. Throw away empty can in garbage pickup. Do not burn or puncture the can, even when empty.
CLOGGING
If the valve clogs, twist and pull off spray tip and rinse in a solvent such as mineral spirits. Do not insert any object into the stem.
