DESCRIPTION AND USES
Krud Kutter Concrete Clean & Etch formula is ideal for cleaning, degreasing, and acid etching concrete floors, walls, basements, driveways, swimming pools, patios, and containment areas prior to coating, staining or sealing.
It creates a porous surface, and provides the even profile and uniform appearance preferred for clear coating applications. It can also be used to remove efflorescence (alkali salts) and to neutralize new concrete and new mortar joints on block, masonry and brick.
NO TOXIC RUN-OFF. WILL NOT HARM PLANTS, GRASS, OR SURROUNDING VEGETATION!
PRODUCT APPLICATION
DIRECTIONS
Mix ⅓ gallon (43 oz.) of concentrate with 1 gallon of water in a plastic sprinkling can. One gallon of concentrate will produce 4 gallons of premix; sufficient to cover 800 sq. ft. Hot water will accelerate cleaning and etching. Sweep the surface to remove loose debris, and scrape off excess grease and oil. Cleaning a 10'x10' section at a time, dampen the surface with a fine spray of water, and using the sprinkling can, apply the premix evenly over the surface. Scrub the premix into the surface with a stiff bristled broom until the foaming stops.
NOTE: If no foaming occurs, surface has been previously sealed and this will prevent penetration of premix. Remove the sealer and reapply Krud Kutter Clean & Etch premix. Triple rinse the surface with a water hose. Scrub while rinsing to ensure removal of all loosened material. Allow the surface to dry thoroughly before applying stain or sealant. After the surface has dried, check any glossy or oily areas by applying a few drops of water. If water does not penetrate quickly, re-tch the affected areas.
WARNING: CONTAINS PHOSPHORIC ACID. SEVERE EYE AND SKIN IRRITANT. In case of contact with eyes or skin, flush with water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. If swallowed, take large amounts of water. Do not induce vomiting. Get medical attention.
