Acid Etching - Not Recommended for Basement Floors

If our EpoxyShield Garage or RockSolid Kits are to be used on a residential basement floor, it is not recommended to use an acid etch. Instead, prepare the floor with TSP solution or TSP substitute and ensure that it is thoroughly clean and dry before coating.
