Dry Erase over Magnetic Primer

It is not possible to create a magnetic dry erase board using a combination of the Magnetic Primer and Dry Erase Coating.
To ensure a strong magnetic bond, the Magnetic Primer should only be topcoated with single component latex or oil-based coatings. The Dry Erase Coating is a two-component epoxy system and can potentially block too much of the magnetism. Additionally, it is recommended to only apply the Dry Erase Coating over a white primer / paint. With the Magnetic Primer being black, the Dry Erase Coating may not properly hide and have good erasability.
