Metallic Ruboff

  • Updated

Several of our metallic spray paints are leafing-pigment paints. This leafing pigment is what gives the paint its metallic brilliance but makes the coating practical for more decorative applications only. With sufficient rubbing this pigment has the potential for rubbing off or discoloring from abrasion, or can appear tarnished or mottled when exposed to repeated moisture. The use of a clear coat will seal the surface but will negatively impact the metallic look.
