Rust Reformer - Aerosol vs. Brush

Stops Rust® Rust Reformer is available in both an aerosol and a brush-on format to meet your specific project needs.
Our Rust Reformer aerosol is a unique formulation that provides far superior performance through the use of a unique combination of a highly active chemical that forms permanent covalent bonds with the iron oxide in rust , converting it into a passive paintable surface, for long-lasting corrosion resistance and surface protection. Its aerosol format makes it ideal for intricate or hard to reach areas.
Our Rust Reformer brush-on formula, on the other hand, is a specific copolymer which chemically reacts with active iron oxide (rust) and converts it into an inert compound.
For maximum durability and protection, we suggest top coating either product with one of our Stops Rust® Protective Enamels.
