DESCRIPTION AND USES
Rust-Oleum Automotive Aircraft Remover is fast-acting and will efficiently remove all types of finish from metal surfaces of automobiles and trucks. Effective on acrylics, lacquers, polyurethanes and baked enamels. Non-corrosive to all common metals under normal exposure time.
NOTE: Depending on the type and thickness of previous coatings to be stripped, application times or number of applications of stripper may vary. This product may not be compatible with all surfaces and all conditions surrounding application. Before applying to any surface, always test product in a small, inconspicuous area to ensure no damage will result. Not recommended for use on fiberglass, plastics, or any other synthetic surfaces.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS
Protect hands with solvent-resistant gloves and eyes with chemical splash goggles. ONLY USE OUTDOORS OR IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA. Do not use in small, enclosed areas where vapors can accumulate and concentrate. If sensitive to organic vapors, use a NIOSH approved gas and vapor respirator.
Use when temperature is between 65-90°F (18-32°C) and humidity is below 65% to ensure proper drying. Avoid spraying in very windy, dusty conditions.
APPLICATION
1. Open can slowly to relieve pressure.
2. Remove or protect any portions of the vehicle not being stripped. Mask seams and trim openings as this will prevent bleed-back stripping of new finish.
3. Pour stripper into a metal container and apply a liberal coat with a chemical-resistant brush. If applying to a vertical surface, begin application at the bottom because vapors are heavier than air and can accumulate near the floor. Apply stripper to an area no larger than 3’ x 3’. Brush in one direction only. Leave area after applying while stripper is working. Allow for adequate ventilation if product is being used indoors.
4. Let the stripper stand until finish is completely blistered or liquefied; the time will vary from 20 to 45 minutes or longer.
5. After 20 minutes, test a small area to see if old finish is ready for removal. The loosened finish may be removed with a flexible plastic scraper. Multiple coats may require repeat application. If paint has not bubbled, surface must be kept wet with stripper. Do not allow to dry out.
6. Remove paint with a flexible plastic scraper, and then clean with mineral spirits soaked rag to remove any residue. Allow surface to dry before applying a new finish. Prime metal as soon as possible to prevent flash rust.
7. If the product experiences sputtering, place at room temperatures to achieve desired performance.
